How to check at home — three quick steps:
- Have your pet stand naturally on a flat surface. Measure shoulder height: floor to the top of the shoulders (scapula).
- Measure head width across the widest part of the cheeks. A bowl opening should be comfortably wider than this measurement so your pet can eat without cheek contact.
- Mock the fit: hold a bowl (or a similarly sized dish) at the height of your pet's lower chest. Your pet should reach forward with a relaxed neck — not forced up or crouched down. If the posture looks natural, this set will fit well.
