Quick fit check — how to measure for the right mat

• Place your bowls where you want them and measure the full footprint (left to right and front to back). Add at least 1–2 in of mat beyond the bowls so spills are contained.
• If measuring for a dog: measure the width of the dog’s shoulders and the length from the front paws to the back paws while standing — the mat should be wider than the bowl area, not necessarily than the dog.
• Recommendation: choose Small for single small bowls or cats; choose Large if you use two bowls, larger bowls, or have a small-to-medium dog (we recommend Large for dogs up to ~30 lbs).
