Size Information
- One adjustable strap — single size designed to attach to a pet harness and your car's seat-belt buckle or loop.
- Recommended fit: Best for cats and small-to-medium dogs (we recommend for pets up to about 50 lbs) — examples: French Bulldog, Beagle, Cocker Spaniel, most terriers. Not ideal for very large or giant breeds (Labrador, German Shepherd, Great Dane) or dogs that are strong jumpers without a dedicated crate or heavy-duty restraint.
- How to confirm this will fit your dog:
- Use a harness (never attach only to a collar). Clip the strap to the harness D-ring and secure the other end to your car's seat-belt buckle or anchor point.
- With your dog standing, the strap should allow them to sit and lie down comfortably but prevent them from reaching the front seats. When your dog is sitting, aim for about 4–8 inches of slack — enough to be comfortable but not enough to jump forward.
- Measure your dog's chest (widest part) to confirm harness sizing and ensure the harness you use fits correctly. If your dog exceeds ~50 lbs or is an active jumper, choose a more heavy-duty restraint or crate.
