- How to measure your dog (in inches):
- Length: Measure from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail.
- Height: Measure from the floor to the highest point of the shoulder (with pet standing).
- Girth: Measure around the widest part of the chest (just behind the front legs).
Fit check: If your dog weighs 15 lbs or less and can comfortably lie down, turn around, and sit up without the head pressing the carrier top, it will be a good fit. Use the measurements above as a quick sanity check before travel: your dog should be able to lie down with a little room to shift position.
