Quick fit guide — how to choose the right mat:
- Measure the outer footprint of your litter box (length × width in inches).
- Add at least 4 inches to the front (where cats exit) and 2–4 inches to each side for small/average diggers. For heavy diggers or multi-cat households, add 6 inches front and 4 inches per side.
- Choose the mat whose Dimensions (in) are equal to or larger than the summed measurement — the mat should extend beyond the box so litter is caught on the surface.
