- Weigh your pet on a household scale — weight is the primary fit factor for this sling.
- Measure length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Shorter-bodied pets (roughly up to 14 inches) sit most comfortably in a sling.
- Measure chest girth at the widest part of the ribcage to confirm the pet can curl and breathe comfortably when placed in a sling.
