Quick check — how to measure so you know it will fit:
- Measure your dog from the base of the neck to the base of the tail (in inches).
- Measure your vehicle's rear seat width (seat cushion left-to-right) and the distance from the seat edge to the back of the front seats (seat depth), both in inches.
- Rule of thumb: your rear seat width should be at least your dog's length plus 6 inches to allow comfortable coverage and room to shift. If your dog's length is close to or larger than the seat width, the cover may still protect the seat but will be snug.
- Also measure headrest spacing if you plan to use the cover's straps through headrests — confirm there is clearance for attachment.
