- Measure the height from the floor to the surface your pet needs to reach (seat of car, sofa seat, or bed). This is the vertical height the ramp must cover.
- Compare that height to the ramp lengths above: shorter ramps (27.6 in) are best for lower surfaces; longer ramps (39.4 in) create a gentler slope for taller surfaces and heavier or less-mobile dogs.
