- Best for: cats and small dogs up to ~25 lbs — examples: domestic cats, kittens, Pugs, French Bulldogs, Dachshunds, and small terriers. Suitable for everyday feeding and drinking for these pets.
- Not ideal for medium-to-large breeds (for example, Labradors or Golden Retrievers) — they will likely need a larger or raised feeder for comfortable eating.

Quick home fit check: use these three simple steps to confirm this feeder will work for your pet:
- Weigh your pet. If your pet is ≤25 lbs, this feeder is very likely a good fit.
- Measure shoulder height (floor to top of shoulder). If ≤12 in, your pet should reach the bowl comfortably.
- Measure muzzle width (widest part of the snout). If ≤4.5 in, your pet can eat/drink from the bowl without difficulty.
