- One mat — recommended fit: This is a single-size, compact feeding mat. Based on the product images and bowl proportions, it is best for small-to-medium dogs — we recommend for dogs up to about 40 lbs (examples: French Bulldog, Beagle, Cocker Spaniel).
- Typical use: Ideal for 1–2 standard cat/small-dog bowls or a single medium-dog bowl. For large breeds (over ~40 lbs) this mat may only cover one bowl and won’t provide a roomy feeding station.

Quick check — how to measure your bowls:
- Place the bowls on the floor as you will use them and measure total width (left to right) and total depth (front to back) in inches.
- As a rule of thumb, this mat comfortably contains typical small-dog/cat bowl layouts where total width is roughly 10–14 inches and depth is about 8–10 inches. If your bowls fit within those footprints, this mat will control spills and keep bowls steady.
- How to measure your dog (optional): If you prefer to size by dog rather than bowls: measure your dog’s shoulder width and observe their feeding posture. This mat suits most small and many medium breeds up to ~40 lbs; dogs that spread or lean widely while eating may need a larger mat.
