How to check fit — quick steps:
- Measure your dog from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail — this should be less than or equal to 28.7 in.
- Measure your dog’s width (hip-to-hip) — this should be less than or equal to 22 in to sit comfortably side-to-side.
- If your dog sits upright often, measure shoulder height — 21.5 in is the maximum upright height inside the extender.
- Tip: Measure your vehicle’s back seat surface (seat-to-seat length and width). If the seat area is at least 29 in long and 22 in wide, the extender will sit flat and provide full coverage.
