- How this fits: The carrier attaches to the front and rear headrests and forms a hammock over the back seat. It’s roomy enough for a small-to-medium dog to sit and turn comfortably; not intended for large-breed dogs (Labrador, Golden Retriever).

How to check before buying:
- Weigh your dog — if your dog is under ~40 lbs, this carrier is likely suitable.
- Measure your dog from the base of the neck to the base of the tail (length) and the shoulder height. Your dog should be able to sit upright and turn around comfortably on your car’s back seat cushion.
- Measure the flat area of your car’s rear seat (seat seam to seat seam). Because this carrier hangs across the entire back seat, if your dog fits on that flat area without hanging over the edge, the carrier will fit.
- If your dog is larger than ~40 lbs or you own a large-breed dog, choose a carrier or crate specifically rated for large breeds for best safety and comfort.
