- Best for: Small-to-medium dogs, puppies, and child car seats. Examples: Beagles, Cocker Spaniels, French Bulldogs, and similar-sized pets — comfortable for dogs up to about 50 lbs.
- Quick car fit check: Measure your back seat bench across (left to right) — if it is at least 53 in, the cover will lie flat across the seat. Measure seat depth (front edge to backrest) — if it is at least 47 in, the cover will reach from the backrest toward the seat edge for full coverage.
- Quick dog fit check: Have your dog lie down and measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. If that length is well under 47 in and the dog is within the small-to-medium weight range above, this cover will give full protection and room to sit or lie comfortably.
- How to measure your car and dog: 1) Seat width — measure left-to-right across the seat cushion at the widest point. 2) Seat depth — measure from where the seatback meets the cushion to the front edge. 3) Dog length — measure your dog lying naturally from neck base to tail base. Compare those numbers to the cover dimensions above.
