- Measure your vehicle's back seat area: length (left-to-right), depth (front-to-back), and seat height. The product needs at least the listed length and width available on your seat to sit flat and extend the resting area.
- Measure your dog: length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, and know your dog's weight. For comfort, your dog's body length should be shorter than the seat length by a few inches so they can lie down comfortably.
