- Fit recommendation: Single-size mat — best for small to medium dogs up to about 40 lbs (examples: Beagle, Cocker Spaniel, French Bulldog). The mat is roomy enough for a single or double bowl setup shown in the photos and prevents spills from reaching your floor.
- Quick check to see if it will work for you: measure the total width of your bowl setup (place bowls side-by-side as you’ll use them) and the shoulder width of your dog. If the combined bowl width plus 4–6 inches is less than the space you plan to allocate, the mat will provide a tidy, spill-resistant area.
- How to measure (2 easy steps):
1) Measure your bowls: place them as you will during feeding and measure the total width across (in inches).
2) Measure your dog: measure shoulder width (across the front shoulders) in inches. Add about 4–6 inches to the bowl width to allow splash and movement. - Example guidance: If your bowls together are 8–12 inches across and your dog’s shoulder width is under 12 inches, this mat will be a good fit for everyday feeding. For larger multi-bowl stations or heavy chewers, consider a larger mat option.
